If you have your invoice still from the AirPods, I would contact Apple Support on why you're only receiving one month compared to six. My best guess is you bought another Apple product that only offered a month, or your six month trial didn't register within the app itself. Contacting Apple Support with proof of purchase will be the next best steps!
