Motion Templates Unexpectedly Added In My Movies Tab on Finder

I was thinking that most people have been asking that question. But the question is that what was the reason why the Motion Templates have been automatically added to my Movies Tab on Finder after I opened iMovie on my MacBook Air M1?

Look normally, I don't use Motion Templates. But it doesn't make sense that it was added to my Movies Tab on Finder. But this is the proof right here in this screenshot:

This is a screenshot on a computer of mine that has never had Motion installed.

As you can see, there is an empty Motions Template folder.

There is also a Final Cut Pro Library folder because I do have FCP installed.

This is perfectly normal.

The screenshot you show is nothing to do with iMovie . . . it shows the Movies folder which just happens to contain the iMovie Library but also contains anything else that is loosely connected with video . . . in your case the TV folder as well as the Motion Templates folder.

The latter is present on everyone's Mac in case they start to use Motion.

Your folder will be empty if you don't have Motion installed.
