Emails

Suddenly I have 10,000 emails and I have tried the usual ways to delete ie

edit and enter into bin file. This worked if I only put in a few at a time but now they are all back. I have Norton virus in place

any ideas please and thanks

remove deleted emails I have no problem with deleting my emails...it's removing them from my computer that is a problem At the moment, suddenly, I have over 9000 emails with 2335 unread apparently. Some of these emails are not even emails to me or by me. I have thousands of emails that are from folks whom I have never send an email, nor have i received any from these people/companies. Why did they all land on my computer? All this seems to have been precipitated when I signed into gmail...as opposed to my Sympatico mail which I had been using... What gives????

Deleted emails keep coming back I have repeatedly deleted emails on my Apple email account & I am talking thousands by this point & they keep coming back. I empty the trash. I am up to date on my software. I have deleted the account & re-added it. This is beyond frustrating! Does anyone have advice other than the normal canned response since I have already tried it ALL! Going onto a computer is a non option & I only use my phone for my email.

Email Trash Everyday I clear my mailbox. Everyday when I open my mailbox I have many emails listed from the previous day and many emails from days back. I don't know why emails keep showing up if they were deleted and trash bin cleaned. Does anyone have a solution about this?
