I recently turned off Family Sharing and now a lot of my apps say "This app is no longer shared with you", so I go to the App Store to purchase them again, but the only option is "Update", which forces me to uninstall the apps completely. Is there a way I can use the apps without uninstalling them?
My understanding is the app should still work but you will not be able to update it if purchase sharing has been turned off or the purchaser is no longer part of the family. In that case you likely have to delete the app entirely and redownload it with your ID.
