Check if Apple Pay is available in your country or region:

and, if so, the Apple Pay participating banks

Countries and regions that support Apple Pay - Apple Support


If necessary : Check with your card-provider(s) that they support Apple Pay.


Apple support's article gives the steps to follow to add a card to Wallet:

How to: Set up Apple Pay - Apple Support 

Eg: Says

"Make sure that you sign in to iCloud on all your devices.

On your iOS device, you need to set up Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode".


Check you have a compatible device:

Devices compatible with Apple Pay - Apple Support


Check if you are signed in (to your device) with your Apple ID:

Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support


If needed:

Apple Pay Support:

Get support with Apple Pay:

Apple Pay - Official Apple Support
