After the new iOS 16.6 update Chrome along with Safari will not load certain websites for me.

This is an issue across the iPhone as well as the iPad. When trying to load a pop-up screen view in Chrome browser or Safari I get an Aw! Snap or Can't open this page in loading the page. None of the troubelshooting options provided are working either. This was never an issue before the 16.5-16.6 update that was just released. This is causing issues in my office as I use my iPad primarily and not being able to load certain web pages is causing issues in the flow of my office. I am using an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPad Air 4th generation. Encountering the same issue on both devices.

iPad Air (4th generation)

Hey perez_j88,

We'd recommend reviewing this article as it provides steps to help resolve issues loading websites in Safari on iPad: If Safari isn't loading websites or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

"Connect to a different network

Try to load a website, like www.apple.com, using cellular data. If you don't have cellular data, connect to a different Wi-Fi network and then load the website.

If you're using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), check your VPN settings. If you have a VPN turned on, some apps or websites might block content from loading.

Restart your device

Turn off your device and turn it on again.

Clear website data

You can clear website data occasionally to improve Safari performance.

  1. Go to Settings > Safari.
  2. Tap Clear History and Website Data.
  3. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.

Turn on JavaScript

Turn on JavaScript if it's not already on.

  1. Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced.
  2. Find the JavaScript feature.
  3. Tap the button to turn on JavaScript.

Get more help

If the issue continues and only affects a certain website or webpage, check if you have Private Relay turned on. You can temporarily turn off Private Relay in iCloud Settings. If Safari still doesn't load websites and you tried all of these steps, contact the website developer for more help."

Thanks!

Could it be a new experimental WebKit feature that’s on and it’s not up to working standards yet ? If so I have a list of 16.5 I could share. I would be interested to see what they add or removed in the 16.6 or 17 because 16.5 and 16.4 and 16.3 screwed with the graphics for online games and they haven’t worked right since 16.2
