iCloud Syncing Issue in the Notability App.

I am trying to sync my 4 years worth of notability notes on my iPad Pro on to my MacBook Air.


However, I am coming across the following error:

”iCloud isn't Responding

Notability couldn't turn iCloud on because iCloud is taking too long to reply. Please restart your Mac.”


I tried the solutions from

still coming across the same issue.


The iCloud syncing is working between my iPad and iPhone though.


I believe it’s due to the large and heavy amount of documents.


There are no hardware issues or limitations, its purely technical.

I've been having the same issue for months. No problems with syncing between iPad, iPhone, and a MacBook Pro, but the notability app in my MacBook Air will NOT enable syncing to be turned on. Have been getting the same error message for months no matter how many fixes I try.
