"What happened to all my contact list on my iPhone: I used to have an icon on my iPhone for all my contacts, I don’t know what I did, but it disappeared, how do I get it back???help!"

Getting Back a Lost Home Screen Apps\:

Two methods...

A. Drag it Back:

Swipe your finger in from the right. Then, drag it back over.

No Success?...

B. Reset the Home Screen Layout:

If a widget or app has gone mossing somehow, then you need to reset the Home Screen Layout...

Go Here: Move and organize apps on iPhone - Apple Support

You'd have to add back all the widgets that you can recall being back on there.

Scroll to: Reset the Home Screen and Apps to their Original Layout

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: General
3. Tap: Reset
4. Tap: Reset Home Screen Layout
5. Then... Add the apps back

Contacts are listed both in your "Phone" app and in the "Contacts" app.

Apps can be removed from the home screen without being deleted. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.

Also note the Search window at the top of the App Library.

If the Contacts app was deleted, to reinstall see the following from Delete built-in Apple apps from your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch - Apple Support

Restore a built-in app that you deleted

1. On your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, go to the App Store.
2. Search for the app. Make sure that you use the exact name of the app.
3. Tap the Redownload button .
4. Wait for the app to restore, then open it from your Home Screen.
