I own an iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012) (my mothers computer), and I attempted to update it from Catalina 10.15.7 to Big Sur, but it said update not available. I know my computer is kind of old, so is my computer outdated? Thanks for helping.

But at least the device will not arrive to the Land Fill Site and be recycled in a responsible way by Apple

dang it. That’s kind of annoying because I don’t really have the funds to buy a new one and my kind of Mac should be able to run it just fine. Oh well.
