Lowering prominence/volume of drums in a song already recorded

Hello. Is there a way to lower the volume/prominence on a well-known song’s recording of the drum when I listen to it? I don’t know if the drum is on its own track or with other sounds.

Also, does the music app that comes with MacBook Air permit this kind of work?

I have MacBook Air from March 2020 before Apple chips were added.

Thanks to anyone who can provide some direction! 🙂

Hello George'sMom,

Remixing the song is well out of scope of the Music app. However, you can use one of the equalizer settings, such as "reduce bass," to modify the playback. Right-click the track in your library, Get Info, go to Options tab, and there you can pull down the Equalizer menu.
