wired game controller doesnt work on ipads?

I have a adapter to connect xbox 360 wired controller to my ipad, but the controller keeps on blinking, so is there a way to pair it or other method of using a wired controller.

Hi Mikozo,

We see you're running into some issues connecting a game controller to your iPad. This link provides the steps you should be able to use to pair the controller. Connect a wireless game controller to your Apple device:

"Pair and connect a controller

Instructions for PlayStation game controllers and Xbox game controllers are available, but the general steps are the same for all Bluetooth game controllers that can be paired with a computer or mobile phone.

  1. Press and hold the appropriate button or buttons on the controller to put it into pairing mode. This makes it discoverable by your Apple device. Check your controller's documentation for setup details specific to pairing with a computer or mobile phone.
  2. Open Bluetooth settings on your Apple device, then select the controller from the list of nearby devices.

You mentioned you're using a wired controller with an adapter. The steps above should work for any Bluetooth-compatible controllers, but if these aren't working for you and you're using a wired controller with an adapter, you may want to check with the manufacturer as a next step to verify it will support pairing with your iPad.

Take care.
