While the decision is up to you as to whether or not you want to pay the subscription what I would suggest is looking at the product page for Logic Pro for iPad located here: Logic Pro for iPad - Apple (CA) so that you can review more information and make the best decision for you.

Take note, that you can only buy the applications in a bundle and not individually if you are planning of purchasing them through the education store.
