Question about Macbook M2 Pro battery.

Is it ok for my Macbook to be plug-in all the time (using it mostly in shell mode) and let the battery go down from 100% to 10% once a week? Thx for any help :)

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.4

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.
