How to remove LGBT calendar reminder?

First a comment. I don't feel to well about receiving forced calendar reminders that I can't opt out of. Now my question. How do I completely remove the LBQT calendar reminder. I don't want or need to know about this.

You are in full control of which calendars you want to subscribe to.

If you receive a notification from Calendar it is because something is in one of your calendars.

Open the Calendar application and check or uncheck calendars in left sidebar.

Add or delete calendar accounts on Mac

Stop using a calendar account

You can temporarily stop using an account so that its calendars and events no longer appear in Calendar on your Mac.

  1. In the Calendar app  on your Mac, choose Calendar > Accounts, then select the account you want to stop using.
  2. Deselect the Calendar checkbox.

To use the account again in Calendar, select the Calendar checkbox. The account’s calendars and events reappear.

The notifications usually indicate the source app or service, if not calendar.

To control those: Settings > Notifications > shut off everything

Weather alerts are either from an app (see above) or from a government weather entity. To disable those:

About emergency and government alerts - Apple Support

Government alerts (at least in the US) cannot be blocked.

More generally, switching to either the Assistive Access interface for a “more focused features and a simplified user interface”, or switching to a flip phone, can avoid much of the complexity inherent in iPhone, too.

Notifications can also come from web sites. Usually these are only a problem when sent from malicious sites trying to push scam antivirus tools.

But considering how easy it is for any site to gain the ability to publish these local notifications, this is also a possibility for sites that may not normally publish such notifications.

Go to Safari > Settings > Websites > Notifications and remove anything listed. Also uncheck "Allow websites to ask for permission to send notifications".

LGBTQ is not an event that's in my calendar but i still got a notification about tomorrow being the first day of the LGBTQ+ Pride month. I don't want random notifications I have no control over - I can even control emergency weather notifications - why can't I see where to control this. It's not like I even need the reminder. I don't like useless notifications.
