Apple TV Previous Episodes
I started watching a show, fell asleep, and now it's on episode three. Want to go back and see end of one and then number two. Can't find any control that allows this.

They're probably watching using a browser where that is not the case. You can click on info and details and it won't show you any other episodes to choose. (In the past it did, they must of updated it and made it worse)
If you SEARCH in the search bar for the series, then you can get the series with a list of episodes.

That is so inconvenient. Why don't they just add one tiny button? it's just like using an iphone. there is something I don't really understand.
If you have suggestions to Apple for improvement of the Apple TV app on any supported platform, then please send feedback to them directly: Feedback - Apple TV App - Apple.
Find an tile for the show anywhere in the app — anywhere except Up Next. That will bring you to the show’s main Details page, where you’ll find all episodes listed. Select an episode there to watch with that one as the new starting point.
