My space bar is acting as my mouse

My space bar on my Macbook keeps squaring off the entire app everytime I use it. For example, if I am using notes and press space it pops up a square and highlights within the square a random part of the app. I have no idea why it's doing this.

Apps on MacBook freezes when holding green expand button for split screen When i hold down green expand button (mainly happen on chrome but one note as well) to make the screen have split screen, the application freezes and becomes unresponsive. Unable to scroll to green, red, or yellow buttons. Cursor is stuck inside of one tab Hi, when I open up one tab to play a game, I used to be able to tab out of it, minimize it, or go full screen. Now, my cursor is stuck inside of the tab, unable to select the green, red, or yellow buttons. Cursor will also not scroll anywhere off of the opened tab. I have to quit the game completely to access anything else on Mac and when I am playing the game, I’m unable to zoom in full screen with the green button.
