Many of my apps don't work without wifi

Connecting to Wi-Fi is the initial step, followed by establishing an internet connection.

.....the issue is that on a browser through the wifi it works fine it's just some apps that don't work and not all apps. In my case for instance

on Apple TV I can watch Netflix perfectly 4k video streaming perfect.....yet change to Stan it says whoops not connected to the internet Prime says the same not connected to the internet. I try Netflix on my phone works fine I try STAN through a web browser on my computer works fine. It is only when trying to access content through some apps that it doesn't work. Another perfect example spent test app on my phone when I open it it says clearly you are connected to the internet....when I try to run it it says no connection yet if I go to a browser and use the same speed test I am getting 200mbps
