I don't receive WhatsApp notification on my Apple Watch, there is no whatsapp app in the apple notifications
I know the What's app there is not for apple watch, but I just want to enable the notifications (on apple watch) on in the window "Tap Mirror iPhone alerts from" but there is not the entry for 'whatsapp'. The iPhone already has the application whatsapp installed.
In the window "Tap Mirror iPhone alerts from" I can't turn on whatsapp because the app isn't there!!! It's not present even if the whatsapp is installed on the iPhone.

There is no Whats app Application for apple watch.
But you can use Watch Chat to open your whats app and get notifications for it.
Search Watch chat from the app store.
Download it.
Scan the code with your whatsapp application on the iphone or ipad.
That should sort it out.
Then I'd contact Meta, who owns WhatsApp. It is there in my Apple Watch App, Notifications settings under "Mirror iPhone Alerts From."
Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap Notifications.
Tap Mirror iPhone Alerts From and scan down till you see WhatsApp and make sure it is turned on.
You are correct, there is no WhatsApp App for Apple Watch. That would be up to Facebook, owned by Meta to create. Apple doesn't own Meta. If you want to see a full fledged WhatsApp app for Apple Watch, contact Meta and let them know.
In my Iphone there is not under "Mirror iPhone Alerts From". Instead in wife's Iphone the notifications setting under "Mirror iPhone Alerts From" exist for the Whatsapp.

No, we have separate accounts.
Not in the Watch App, but in the Settings App for your iPhone, compare your wife's settings for WhatsApp notifications, compared to your settings. Again, NOT in the Watch App.
We are the Same settings on our iPhone about the notifications in whatsapp app!
I'm out of suggestions at this point. Best to reach out to Meta for direct help with their service and notifications.
