Why is my memoji on messenger is being sent as an “Attachment” not an actual emoji?

Why does my Bitmoji send as a sticker and not deliver on Facebook Messenger? Hello,

This is because Memoji’s are not regular emojis. Since they are highly customizable they must be sent as a photo attachment.
