How to stop iPhone from automatically recording my conversations to text? Nothing is stopping it. Just as the title states, my iPhone 15 Pro is constantly recording my conversations and translating them into texts in whatever text box is available. This happens a lot by just setting set my phone down. No, turning off “Raise to Listen” does not change it. And the solution shouldn’t be to disable dictation all-around, as I do utilize this function. I simply want to control when it happens. How is this even an issue in 2024? So disillusioned with Apple products lately. This is the worst iPhone I’ve ever had. Between CarPlay issues, Maps rerouting itself… it seems we have few options to turn off Apple’s faulty functions. I wish anyone would listen or care. Thank you, mt

Tap the mic icon in messages or other apps to turn it off. Make sure its not dark gray Or Disable Dictation entirely in Setting ➡️ General ➡️ Keyboard
