how could i reset my iphone xr i forget my icloud password? pls help me

my brother gave me iphone xr my problem is i been using this phone for more than a year ang accidentally my simcard is already expired. and may son ask me to use my iphone xr for school but the problem was is we cannot dawnload because icloud is asking for my password. and for long time i forgot my icloud password can someone pls. help me to reset the phone so we could make another icloud account. pls. im asking help from the bottom of my heart for sake of my son online class. thank u
