What is included in this free trial for 3 months?

The monthly subscription fee allows you to play games after the 3 month intro period has ended.

So, after 3 months, you pay a monthly fee to play games and another fee for any purchases that you make using the game.

My wife has spent a really impressive amount on free games in the last year or so. Bonus....she gets airline miles for the purchases, and I get the bill. Great deal for Apple, great deal for the wife.

Yes. Any purchasable games from the App Store will still be charged. Any subscriptions or in-app purchases will also be charged.

The Apple Arcade portion of Apple One includes all games under the Apple Arcade section of the App Store app that don’t actually have any prices associated with them, subscriptions or in-app purchases.

This means that after 3 months, you can play the games and other "add ons" that you have already purchased for a monthly fee.....assuming you add no new games or add on purchases.

If you do not plan to buy any new games, then you will only have the monthly fee to pay each month.

Note that anyone playing the current games will be pestered to add new "features" and games, of course.

It covers playing the games under the Arcade banner. those games should not charge you, and have no in-app purchases.

Any other games you've previously bought or downloaded outside of the the Arcade section would not be covered and continue to charge you normally.

The Games within arcade have no extra charges or subscriptions associated with them.
