hello, wb 3 is in paring mode (led is sparkling) but wont show up on my iMac. Impossible tyo connect this device

Has anyone beside me had a problem connecting a cd rom drive to the new M3 iMac? Connecting an external hard drive is no problem. CANNOT connect any CD ROM Drive. It is not recognized

LED Cinema display won't detect on new Macbook (Ventura) but will on older OS I've tried every proposed solution and troubleshoot I can find online, and nothing is working. My 27 inch LED cinema display, when connected via USB-C adapter to my new 14" Macbook Pro, is detecting the sound and says its mirroring in system preferences, but the external screen is black / not detecting display. The Macbook has Ventura OS. The LED display works fine with my 2 older computers running earlier OS, Sierra and Big Sur. So frustrating as I've already lost a days worth of work between picking up the new computer, transferring data, and now not being able to connect to my display. Help please?
