You don't. Activation lock is a security protocol that can't be bypassed. Only the person it is locked to can unlock it.

If you bought this from someone and it came locked, try to get your money back, you will never be able to use the phone, and it is most likely stolen.

Getting into a Locked iPhone:

you Can't, Yourself. Seems you've been scammed --though a full-assumption on my part. The iPhonelocked to the owner's account. This is a theft-deterrent. So, take it back to the estate sale, and ask for a return. If you don't it is useless to you.
