Black screen on AppleTV resume

Anyone else experiencing this? Since the last TVOS update, my AppleTV resumes to a black screen instead of the show that was paused when the TV went into hibernation. To duplicate this, pause a show in any streaming app, and allow the AppleTV to go into hibernation on its own. Upon waking the device, a still black screen is displayed. Pressing play resumes audio but no video. The only workaround appears to be quickly pressing the TV button twice to go into the app switcher, close all active apps, and then relaunch the app. Very irritating to say the least for what’s supposedly a mature OS version now.

I can’t replicate your issue. For me, when my Apple TV 4K box goes to sleep mode after the configured time, from a paused viewing, and waking it later, then the screen reflects the show’s Details page with the partially watched episode marked and ready to resume.
