My new iPad is asking for a passcode to get into the device

New Ipad is asking for a passcode to get into the device. All we have is an apple ID and an apple ID password what the **** is a passcode this is stupid overkill. We had to throw the last Ipad in the garbage because of this issue and it was brand new. Now apple is doing this again!!! locked out!!

If a brand-new iPad is asking for a Passcode that has not been set by you, when setting-up from the initial “hello” page, somebody else has already setup the iPad. As is, the iPad is (and will remain) useless to you.


Return the iPad to your retailer for replacement or refund.
