How do I simply turn off "Hide my Email"?

Hi there, I believe there is no option to turn off “Hide my email” when the option to use it is presented to to you you just ignore next time. Now if you want to set up email forwarding or changing to where the emails are being forwarded then from your “hide my email selection then:

1. Go to settings app on your iPhone
2. Click on your name (You know, when you enter settings it says your name in the top to access the iCloud and Apple ID configuration)
3. Click on “iCloud”
4. Scroll dow the the iCloud+ options
5. you should see an option for “Hide My Email”
6. There you will see the apps to which you are using the “hide my email” functionality and there you will be able to set up the forwarding options

Same for me ...I have as faithully as possible followed every suggestion/instruction; I have NO addresses left to delete/deactivate and I still get "Hide My Email" a lot...crazy.

I am having the same problem. I just want to be able to select my preferred email address when I'm filling out a new login for a new app or website. This is way, way, way too complicated.

E_T_R ... You describe the *exact" same issue I have - right down to the "bumbling around" to change the settings, having temporary success, and then the reversion to the "hide my email"

Why is it impossible to find a solution?!

I'm experiencing the exact same thing and I'm more than frustrated that I can't get rid of something I never wanted in the first place. I've turned off 3 email addresses already, but it just keeps randomely choosing which of my email responses it wants me to use Hide My Email for and no way to choose my own email on that one.

LotusPilot, Ive manually deleted the addresses (that I didn't choose anyway!) and it just keeps choosing more and I have no way to put in my own email when it does that. I'm not trying to fill in any forms here, I'm just going about responding to my emails like I always have and suddenly I have this stupid feature I don't want making me send email response with some made up amail address.

To completely disable Hide My Email, you will need to manually delete/deactivate all Hide My Email addresses that you have created.

Pleaase advise as to how to do that.
