My husbands. AirTags are not syncing to my iPhone

AirTag on my husbands iPhone is not syncing to my iPhone like other devices and

I can’t add them directly either

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16

That's correct. they are tied to his Apple ID, not yours.

Airtag not synced among all my devices Gday, I have an iPhone, iPad and a Mac. When I look up where my Airtag is with any of my devices, then sometimes the iPhone, iPad and Mac don’t show the same. One might say it was seen last time at a certain hour and another device will say it was last seen an hour later (with a different position perhaps). All devices are connected to the internet, same Apple ID of course and I run the latest operating systems. I leave the application open for several minutes in hope it may eventually sync but it doesn’t. For some reason they show different information.. What’s wrong, or is it a bug?

Can an Airtag be connected to 2 iPhones? Trying to connect an Airtag to my phone after my wife was successful adding the Airtags to hers. My phone will not detect them.

Because of the way AirTags operate …

… they can ONLY be paired-to - and located - using FindMy on the Trusted Devices of a single AppleID.
