I am getting a blank email page open each time I open an email. These blank will not shut until I close Mail. Why is this?

Have you tried restarting your Mac to see if the issue persists? This can clear up minor software issues. If it does, we'd recommend testing the issue out in safe mode. Additionally you can narrow things down by testing this issue in a different user account. That will determine if the issue is happening just with your account or across the entire operating system. You can learn how to do that here: Add a user or group on Mac - Apple Support

had a chat with the support and asked to use the "force quit mail". It was not unresponsive, but apparently there was something off. The blank windows( 2of them I had today) both vanished. hope they will not appear again...

I have forced quit mail several times, to no avail. when I open, it starts all the same. Every time I click the red dot to close a blank window, it does not close it but generate a new blank page.

This problem started without my adding anything new to my system.

Sounds like I have a similar problem ! When I attempt to 'close' a blank window, it generates a new blank page...I am looking at about 30 on my screen...wanted to show spouse what it looks like. This just happened...suddenly...with no additions to any system. It also will not 'quit' for a shutdown unless I use 'Force quit'....also new and different. What to do?
