exchangesyncd & dataaccessd processes causing extremely high CPU usage?

I have recently noticed that these two processes are constantly running and consuming CPU time, causing my M1 Max MacBook Pro to constantly show approx 20% total CPU usage (first two cores are always pegged).

Has anyone else experienced this? I know that exchangesyncd has something to do with MS Exchange, I do have Outlook installed on this machine and I do have two Microsoft based email accounts linked to the computer as well to sync with my calendars and contacts for work. Deleting them is not an option.

I am unsure what dataaccessd is connected to, a search didn't yield any tangible results.

Any help or tips would be appreciated. I am running Ventura 13.3.1(a).

Hi 10_Gauge,

From taking a few minutes to research, it appears dataaccessd is related to Microsoft Exchange as well. Since this is the case, we would suggest contacting Microsoft to see if anything can be done to have their software run more efficiently on your Mac.
