iphone photos storage glitch

for some reason my photos are taking up my entire phone storage, saying that 160 gb are being used when my phone only has 128 gb that can be used. i have free space, but my phone won’t let me download anything because it keeps saying that my storage is full but that’s not true. it’s like my photo storage has been doubled. is there anything i can do to fix this?

Storage full So I just updated to iOS 16.3 and I checked my storage. For some reason, it shows that my storage is completely full because of my photos. It says I have around 68 gb of photos when I only have 64 gb of storage on my phone. Before I updated, it always showed that I had around 30gb of photos, which was correct but has now doubled in gigabytes. Can someone tell me what’s happening? I hope it’s just a glitch and will be fixed eventually.

Iphone storage Hey all, My iphone 12 Pro has a memory of 128 GB but now it is full and when i check the details of the iphone storage I find that photos is taking 85 GB however I only have 10K photos and videos (the longest one is 2 minutes) and every time I delete as much photos as I can I find that it didn’t free up a considerable space (1K photos emptied 2 GB). I also have to mention that the photos app always lags and whenever I open it I have to wait around 2 minutes to start doing anything in the app. thanks.

Photo storage is taking more space than i have in my iPhone i have an iphone 11 my storage is 128 Gb and the stoarge of the photos only is 189 Gb what should i do to make my phone normal again [Re-Titled by Moderator]

this same thing is happening to me too and i cannot for the life of me find an answer!! apple pls explain i’m scared my phones gonna like breakdown and loose all my data😭
