"Is there a way to stop being prompted to customize my Lock Screen every time I press on the iPhone screen when it is locked? It is hard to hold this phone without pressing the screen on lock and entering customize mode every single time." This question was asked last year, and over 300 people were having the same problem, including me. A solution was never offered. Please help. Thank you!

The operation you're describing appears in the support article Create a custom iPhone Lock Screen:
"Make a new Lock Screen
If the Customize button doesn’t appear, touch and hold the Lock Screen again, then enter your passcode.
2. Tap + at the bottom of the screen.
The Lock Screen wallpaper gallery appears."
Based on that article, touching and holding the screen to access those options is expected, and the function is operating as designed. With no settings in the system to manage that feature, you may provide product feedback at the site Feedback - iPhone.
