how to reload or repurchase music album

I am trying to reload an album I purchased from iTunes, but it does not show up on the list of purchased items. I went to the iTunes Store to re-purchase the album, but it says "purchased" and won't let me re-purchase it. How can I either: )1) Get the album to show up on my list of purchased albums so I can download it , or (2) re-purchase the album?
