MacBook Pro Retina 13" from Early 2015 (A1502) suddenly shuts down at 50%
Hi, I have a MacBook Pro Retina 13" from Early 2015 (A1502) that has started to suddenly shut down when the battery is at around 50%. I have been using this laptop almost every day but mostly plugged. The battery has only 187 cycles as you can see below. The condition of the battery is listed as "normal" in the System Report, and I have also tried resetting the SMC (System Management Controller) as suggested in: Macbook air dies around 40-50% - Help! - Apple Community. Can this issue be solved or it is time to buy a new laptop?
