My apple mail app won't let me send emails. I can receive and delete emails but i havnt been able to send emails for about 2 months now! Can anyone help?!

Hi all,

My apple mail app won't let me send emails, they just get stuck in outbox.

I can still receive and delete emails.

I have tried to fix this multiple ways, looking at the SMTP server and changing those details but that doesn't work (or I haven't got it right).

Tried to remove the account from mail and re-add it. That also didn't work.

Hoping someone can help here as its becoming very annoying!

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.4

I suggest you completely remove the offending mail accounts and rebuild them from scratch.

If that doesn't work, you may have a problem with the mail web server. All Mac mail does is allow local control of a web service; it mirrors what the web service is doing.
