iOS 16.4.1 (a) update: volume problem iphone XI
Today the iOS 16.4.1 (a) update was installed and now the volume decreases with the + button and increases with the - button?

There is no setting on an iPhone to change the volume button orientation, so it sounds like it may be an issue with that software version. You'll want to make sure you've already tried restarting the device and then if the buttons still aren't working properly, contact Apple to report the issue.
