Best Browser & Ad Blockers

The level of ads on websites has become unbearable and all leading blockers are failing. I am on Safari and none of the 3 top Ad Blockers are working.

What browsers are you using to block ads, and what extensions are working as I am frustrated beyond belief.

No problem using both. Safari excels at its integration with everything Apple does, primarily iCloud Keychain, its "strong password generator", and automatically filling in annoying 2FA codes. Brave and FF excel at customization.

You can even export Safari's saved passwords and subsequently import them into Brave, making it easy to alternate between the two. I'm sure there is a way to do that with Firefox also.

Be advised passwords will not be encrypted in transit, but that much ought to be obvious.

Plenty of other browser choices. Dissenter and DuckDuckGo are among those I have some experience with. Arc, Edge, and Opera I have not.

I personally like using Vivaldi which is based on Chromium, but is highly customized. Vivaldi includes a built-in ad blocker, or if you want to keep the ads, there is an option to just disable Trackers. I believe Vivaldi automatically blocks a few things automatically, but leaves the main ad blocker & Tracker blocker disabled by default. Vivaldi makes it easy to adjust the blocking of Trackers or Ads on a site per site basis by the security icon on the URL bar. I have no reason to use any browser extensions.
