Hello guys! Please I have a concern about my 13 pro max purchase date which is showing April 1, 1978. I honestly do not know again and I got this device today May 3, 2023. How do I rectify this?
Also note that no apple support here in Nigeria and I can't even find an easy way to reach out to them to be honest. I am tired.

That date means the device was sold "As Is' and has no manufacturer warranty.

Have you gotten solutions? Did you later meet the seller, what was his explanation?
Does it mean the device has a factory fault? Was it previously used or owned and returned? Why the 1978? What are the disadvantages?
The 1978 date is Apple’s way to identify the device was sold “As is, no warranty.”
These are usually gray market (imported through unauthorized channels) sales by unauthorized retailers.
But doesn’t mean that device is inferior, faulty or not original?

It has nothing to do with it possibly being inferior, not original, or faulty. In most cases it is a brand new device.
