My Metro TAP card gets lost when I transfer it to my Apple Watch. Metro Help suggests I re-add it to my Apple Wallet, but I don't have the option.

When I attempt to transfer my Metro TAP from my iPhone XS to my Apple Watch SE, it shows up on my watch saying that it is waiting for approval or authentication, then a little while later the Wallet app says that the card is unavailable and the only option is to delete it. When I go to look at my TAP card on my iPhone's Wallet app, it isn't on my iPhone.

The Metro app says "Card is Unavailable. Add it in Apple Wallet." When I reached out to Metro Support, they advise me re-add the card to my wallet. Set up Apple Pay - Apple Support indicates that there should be a link that allows me to do this, but the option is not there.

I've lost two TAP cards due to this issue. Is anyone else having it? What was your solution?

This happened to me, but Metro Support was able to transfer the funds from the old card to a new virtual card which I purchased in-app whilst I was on the phone with them. They then removed the old card from my TAP account.

Based on this FAQ, we're supposed to manually REMOVE the TAP card from the WATCH before unpairing. I'll know for next time!
