Move ring data for move goal changed a week later showing that it wasn’t closed (it was and the goal was never changed). It won’t let me manually fix it.

Rings can only be modified before midnight of that day then they are fixed for ever.

It is unusual that a ring re-opens but it's usually because the user traveled across a time zone. If that didn't happen then the cause is probably a mystery.

I have never managed it and my standard response is that once midnight is here the ability to change rings disappears like cinderella's coach.

If you have put in the missing data in the right categories you could go to iphone, Settings, [your name], iCloud, (show all) and turn off Health which will erase all Fitness data on iphone and after restarting phone, turn Health  back on. 

But warning! the Rings and Awards  will take days to return and I can't guarantee it won't lose some on the way.

I accidentally turned off iCloud Health and  it took over 2 weeks for the year's Activity to recalculate . 

Move move ring showed 1300 k after a cycle ride later in same day only showing 900. I have found this happens after every ride. Maybe happens on other days also but hard to tell.
