#images missing in Messages app on Ventura

#images GIF app not showing up when I click Applications button in Messages app on Mac Ventura 13.3.1. Memoji, Photos and Message Effects are showing up correctly.

Messages On Mac, ability to send "#images" (GIF's) disappeared after MacOS Ventura 13.5.2 update. After running the update to MacOS Ventura 13.5.2 update on my MacBook Pro the ability to send #images (GIF's) disappeared from Messages... the only options I now have to send in addition to text (see screen shot) are "Photos", "Memoji Stickers", and "Message Effects"... in fact, now that I look at it all other options are missing too like sending music links or "Stickers"... all the things that were there before. Is there something that I'm missing? It was there yesterday...

Safari Icon opens the messages app.... 2020 MacBook Pro 13" - after latest Ventura update, the Safari icon on my desktop opens the messages app....I've rearranged the icons in my bottom bar, but clicking the Safari icon still defaults to opening the messages app...I have to finder search Safari in order to open it. This along with a host of other Venture bugs has me quite perplexed.

Restarted and things are normal again.
