I am on my iPad and I can’t add, remove or change passwords or Touch ID. Could this be in link with parental controls?

Your ScreenTime settings can, by design, inhibit access to your TouchID and Passcode Settings:

Settings > ScreenTime > Content & Privacy Restrictions > [Allow Changes] Passcode Changes >

  • Set to Allow to access your TouchID and Passcode settings
  • Set to Don’t Allow if you wish to inhibit access to TouchID and Passcode settings - this being the more secure setting. When set, TouchID and Passcode settings are hidden from view.
