Wifi connecting in setting but wifi symbol not showing

Forced restart is not the same as a restart.

But if it’s working, it’s working.

If the forced restart does not clear this, and if you have iCloud+, shut off Limit IP Address Tracking, and see if things improve. (Settings > Wi-Fi > {Your SSID} ℹ️ > Limit IP Address Tracking)

Does "pretty much everything" include a Forced Restart? That was the ticket for me.
