Cannot delete Icloud backup

1. Try doing this process on Wi-Fi, as well as cellular data

I'm having same issue, cannot delete old backup. I've tried signing out, restarting, on wifi, off wifi. I simply want to delete the old phone backup 44gb so that my new device has room to backup to icloud. We pay for the family plan 200gb and both our new iphone 15pros won't allow for old backup delete......
