Delete Apple preinstalled Bloatware

Mac Ventura 13.0.1. Need more disc storage. How can I delete Apple podcasts and garage band?

Garage Band and iMovie can be deleted, just drag them into the bin from applications.

You cannot delete those applications included with and installed by the OS, including Podcasts and Garage Band.


If you are trying to free up storage space, start by moving your music, pictures and video from your startup drive onto an external drive. These file types generally take up the greatest amount of space.
