My wife and I are co-owners of our Apple Card. Reading about the new saving account option, it appears that we each would have to have our own savings account. Am I wrong in assuming this or are there plans to allow us to share a savings account at some point in the future. Although separate accounts might work for the cash back that we receive, to really take advantage of a high interest savings account, we both need to have access to it.

Yes, I would like to take advantage of the savings account. We will not transfer funds over without having the option of a joint account. My wife doesn't want to jump through hoops in case I were to pass away and not have access to our money.
Once an Apple Card Account owner opens an Apple Savings Account the owner will have the option of designating a beneficiary upon the owners passing. Beneficiary’s are generally paid within a few days of owners passing upon satisfying the requirements, such as death certificate etc.
Each user has their own. Perhaps that will be a feature in the future
