Mail on Osx 13.3 doesn't keep defualt mail order

Hello,

we have 3 macbook air M1 running on os x 13.3, recently upgraded from Monterey.

We can't keep the default order for searches. Every time we start a new search the mail listed are order by dimension and not for data.

After every search we set from the menu-->order by-->data and all folders.

But after closing the mail app, the next search will order mail by dimension.

We have another Macbook air M1 that comes directly with 13.3 installed and it has not this issue.

Is it a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.5

Not sure what is the "dimensions" of an email...(?)

Did you try the Help menu for some insight:
