My notes are not syncing between Mac and iphone - I have tried every suggestion

There is no such path as there is no Accounts option under File in notes. Open Notes on your computer, go to File>Accounts (Does not exist)>icloud and sign in through that method.

Thanks for this solution. Opened Notes on my computer, went to to Accounts>icloud and turned "sync" notes off, then on again. Then I could see all my missing notes from my iPhone 12.

There’s a good hack! But a lengthy one! Can share through message app, syncing seems impossible with two different IDs. But can only share one note file at a time, which is time consuming.

I moved notes from the folder "On My iPhone" to the folder "iCloud" and immediately my notes synced to the MacBook

this worked for me:

go to settings, iCloud, Apps using iCloud, Show All, scroll down to Notes, select then turn on Sync this iPhone

Didn’t help me. When I go to iCloud there is no place to sign in because it’s already connected

Just wanted to say, thank you so much for posting this. It's a very weird solution to have to download an app not designed to even fix this issue but it worked.

Following the steps of signing out and signing back in fixed my issues as well it seems like there is some kind of caching issue with Apple notes that needs to be fixed.
