Numbers accounting template

Quickbooks doesn’t work for my brain.

Has anyone created an Accrual Accounting Spreadsheet Template?

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, SG.

I’ve decided to read an accounting book.

Quickbooks doesn’t provide sufficient guidance on how to use their product. When I upload photos of my receipts, Quickbooks doesn’t allow me to download them later. They also don’t allow me to view the receipt. I can only view a thumbnail. There is no Quickbooks product designed just for compiling small business taxes. There’s no savings and no education in using the Quickbooks product as opposed to taking my spreadsheet and receipts to my CPA.

Unless you are REALLY good a spreadsheets and probably scripting and have a LOT of time to experiment I recommend you avoid trying to use Numbers (or Excel)to construct an accounting system. You are far better off with Quickbooks or Sage or another tool designed for that purpose.

You can, of course, use specified methodology to calculate specific accrual amounts to feed into an accounting system. But that would require more information about your situation.
