There is no application to open the url (roblox)

Search the App Store for an application that can open this document, or choose an existing application on your computer.

and it only pops up thru google chrome and not safari, when i try to download roblox on safari it doesnt even redirect me to the dmg link or anything PLZ HELP!

Roblox has been updating, i think, because it would say "upgrading" when I launched it sometimes and I do use the google chrome browser when using roblox.

I got the same thing when I updated my Mac to the new macOS 14.1.1

and I tried to get into roblox by the website, it said that there was no application to open roblox on. Even though before the update it had no problem opening it.

PLUS when I'm looking for an application to open it with... there's NONE! I didn't even delete roblox or anything, I just tried to open it from the web but it wasn't opening D:>

It's fine when I open it from my dock, but I find it faster to open it from the website. I'm not sure if I have to redownload it but I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON pls help <:[

I FOUND A WAY TO FIX THIS!!!! :D

Here's the way i fixed it so you can join a game through the web again :]

click finder
go over to locations and you'll see RobloxPlayerInstaller
click on that and you'll see the roblox icon
double click the icon and there should be a loading screen which says "configuring roblox"
afterwards it should open roblox (the app) then, if you want, can exsit out of roblox and try the site again :]

I hope this works for you and you can open roblox again
